Kimono Earrings class at Eclectica Beads, Milwaukee this Saturday, May 25

Start out your Memorial Day weekend with a metals fabrication project and choose a bead from Irina's wonderful collection as an embellishment. Check out the website: www.eclecticabeads.com. Store is located at 18900 W. Bluemound Road, Brookfield. The class starts at 10:30am followed by a "Bead Meets Metal" book signing with me around 3pm.

Photos of students in the drilled river stones class from the Bead & Button show. Project was to drill two thin stones from Lake Superior. Throw on a fine silver forged spiral and you have a fun pair of earrings.

Here are the ladies working on their etched turquoise earrings: carol, annie, nickie and cindy. At first I think they were a bit stressed working with the nail polish technique! But in the end they seemed pleased with smiles about their final projects.
